Laura Baldwin Hart

She passed away in a Long Term Care - Skilled Nursing facility with her husband at her bedside. She is survived by her husband, Neil Milan Hart, her daughter, Lori Tamara Gher, 2 sons, John Emery Baldwin (Jeb) and Greg Hunter Baldwin, several grand and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, A.B.Hunt and Lena Hunt, and 2 older sisters, Barbara Britton and Polly Pierce.

She was born in the small southwest Kansas town of Liberal, and she was named Lorene Jessica Hunt. She attended elementary, middle and high schools there. After graduation she proceeded to college at Wichita State University, SMU and finally at the University of Kansas, graduating in 1956 with a BS Degree.

The largest part of her working life was 30 years in Dallas, Texas as a realtor for Prudential Texas Properties and Merrill Lynch realty department for re-locations. During that time she decided to change her first name to Laura and kept Baldwin as her middle name to honor her children.

She and her husband went to high school together and had not seen each other, literally, for 50 years and re-connected in Dallas on 12/15/2006. After seeing each other,off and on, in 2007, they were married on 11/15/2007.

It had been a loving 17+years together.
