Lauren was born March 11, 2002, in Denver, Colorado. As a small girl, Lauren always had a heart for adventure; she chased butterflies and played with bugs, frogs, and snakes. She was full of life, love and energy. Those who knew her witnessed the love that Lauren had for all animals, especially for her dogs: Stella, Baker, Levi, Riker and Bailey. Lauren had a unique competitive spirit, as she was determined to be the best at any task she set her mind to, a trait that followed her as she continued to grow. She had a passion for dance and music, which brought smiles to those fortunate enough watch her dance or hear her incredible voice. No matter the weather - rain, shine or even snow - Lauren would sing her heart out at every concert she attended, for she found solace in music.
Lauren's contagious smile and sweet demeanor drew people to her and her compassionate heart compelled her to help others. She loved so many people without judgement and provided encouragement to others whenever she could. Lauren loved the excitement, freedom, and independence that came with her driver’s license. Her free spirit led her to share many fun and memorable moments with a wide circle of friends. Lauren was fierce, strong, athletic, beautiful, kind, loving, and genuine.
Lauren was set to graduate from Littleton High School in the spring of 2020. She had dreams of pursuing a future that allowed her to take care of animals. Lauren had a bright and beautiful future in store for her, but God had different plans. It is said that God only takes the best of us and that was proven on March 30, 2020, when Lauren passed away. Lauren’s light will continue to shine bright, as she will forever be watching over all those who loved her. She will forever be our Sweet Angel.
Lauren will be dearly missed by her mother and father, Patti and John Lujan; her brother, Broden, whom she adored; her grandparents, Alvina Crouse, Jerry and Hilare Klose, and Rachel Lujan; her aunts and uncles, Vicki and Phil Davis, Shanna Lisa and Joe Traylor, and Vince Lujan; her cousins, Brittney Riordan, Blake Davis, Haley, Samantha, and Gabriella Prusse, as well as many other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Lauren will be held on July 16, 2020. The family will receive friends and family beginning at 7:00pm, with a sunset service beginning at 7:30pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary.
