Lois Jean Billeisen (Roth), 83, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, just two weeks after the passing of her beloved husband, Richard “Dick” Billeisen. After nearly six decades together, their family finds comfort in knowing they are reunited again.
Lois was born on October 30, 1941, to Emma Gertrude Wagner and Henry Frank Roth. An only child, Lois grew up valuing family, friendships, and community.
On September 17, 1966, Lois married the love of her life, Dick Billeisen. Together they built a life filled with laughter, travel, celebrations, and a home that welcomed family and friends. Their partnership was defined by shared adventures, deep friendship, and an unwavering commitment to their family.
Lois was the heart of the family—the organizer, the planner, and the person who made sure everyone stayed connected. She had a well-known fear of missing out on a good time and was always the one bringing people together.
She took immense pride in her children and grandchildren and loved being involved in their lives. Lois is survived by her three children: Julie Billeisen; Greg Billeisen and his wife Shannon, and their son Sam; Jennifer Keyser and her children Ben and Emma. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Lois took pride in being a Labor and Delivery nurse at Swedish Medical Center for 33 years. She loved both her work and the people she worked with, and many of her coworkers became lifelong friends.
Lois loved participating in social events, attending book club, playing mahjong and bridge with friends, enjoying gatherings at Red Rock Country Club, and celebrating at parties. She also had a natural gift for bringing people together and truly enjoyed planning gatherings, celebrations, and trips. Lois especially cherished holidays and the time she spent with the many people in her life.
After many years living with Parkinson’s disease, including some especially difficult recent years, Lois’s body finally gave out. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now free from those limitations and reunited with Dick—her best friend and partner in everything.
Lois will be remembered as a beautiful, giving woman—devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, loyal friend, and someone whose greatest joy was bringing people together. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services for Lois and Dick will be held together at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121, US, on March 20, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
