Lorraine Edith Frost

Lorraine Frost passed away on February 2, 2022 in Rocky Ford CO. She was born in Denver CO on June 5th, 1927, daughter to parents Frank E Swain and Frances W Swain.and sister to brothers Francis, Edward and Leonard Swain.

After a nontraditional childhood, Lorraine graduated from South High School in 1945 and began her journey. Her first job was at Montgomery Wards, then onto The First National Bank In Denver. After marriage and children she returned to Montgomery Wards ,worked in sales audit for 20 years. Lorraine's dream was to become a business owner, she had an opportunity to purchase The Golden Leash Pet Shop in the Villa Italia Shopping Center in the 1970's. The dream didn't stop there, about 10 years later she opened the 2nd Golden Leash Pet Shop in Arvada. She always had busy hands whether it was crocheting, cross stitching, ceramics, making Christmas stocking for the grandchildren and great grandchildren and gardening. Lorraine had a laugh that was so contagious and a warm smile that invited you into her world!

Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband Charles C Frost, her parents Frank E Swain and Frances W Swain, her brothers Francis E Swain, Edward Swain and Leonard Swain.

She is survived by her Daughters Cindy Peterson (Jim), Chris Taggart (Larry-deceased), Grandchildren: Tracie Bleile (Brian), Cerina Cunningham (Dennis), Sonya Taggart(deceased), Carrie Peterson (Jim), John Taggart (Vanessa), Kate Pearson(Aaron): 10 Great Grandchildren: 2 Great-great Grandchildren.
