She was born to Rudolph and Margaret Samson on February 12, 1913 in Denver, Colorado.
On March 18, 1932 she married Peter Jessen. They had two children and lived in Denver until moving to Albuquerque, NM. After her husband passed away she moved to Roswell, NM to be near her son and his wife in 1995.
Margaret was an avid reader and bridge player and enjoyed doing both until her eyesight began failing. After that she enjoyed listening to "Books on Tape" for many years. She was recently living at Mission Arch Care Center where she still enjoyed playing Bingo twice a week.
Margaret was pre-deceased by her husband, Peter and her daughter, Carol Jessen.
She is survived by her son, Larry Jessen and his wife, Connie of both Roswell and Alto, NM. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday, October 27, 2017 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday October 27, 2017 followed with a Committal Service in the cemetery.
