Margaret was born in Memphis Tenn. on May 27, 1939 to Beulah Lucille and Joseph Calloway Boals Jr. She passed away suddenly & peacefully on July 31, 2026 in the loving care of her daughter and son-in-law.
In her childhood days, she enjoyed time with her parents, brother’s, grandparents & cousins at their farm in Moscow Tenn. She also loved roller skating, bike riding, and playing ball with her brother, Joe.
Margaret was a dedicated spouse and mother of four. The family treasured yearly camping trips in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado and of course the yearly Family Reunion in Memphis.
Her hobbies were watching almost any sporting event on TV, reading - especially mysteries, adult coloring, and word search puzzles. She was a collector of angels and dolls. She also crafted many beautiful needlepoint pieces.
Margaret never met a stranger, she connected with people in a very special way and enjoyed many friendships.
Over the last 2 years of her life, her greatest joy was spending time with her boyfriend Frank Elliott.
