Mark Alan Gerardi, age 57, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Mark was born April 13, 1961 in Prospect Park, New Jersey. Mark graduated from Westminster High School (California) in 1979. Mark has been a part of the lumber industry for 35 years. He graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton. He has touched many individuals through his career and was ranked as "one of the best" in his industry. Mark had a passion for all things Disney, spending the last year of his life traveling with his wife and daughter to several Disney locations. He enjoyed listening to 80's hair bands, eating his wife's delicious cooking, telling silly jokes, and becoming best friends with everyone he met. He was quite the talker, and is most likely talking to all the angels in Heaven, introducing himself by staring at them for a few moments before a deep booming "huh-loo." He is preceded in death by his brother, Duane Gerardi; brother-in-law, Eddie Johnson and sister-in-law, Brynette Gerardi. Mark is survived by his wife of 34 years, Melanie Sue (Johnson) Gerardi of Highlands Ranch, CO; his daughter, Genae Gerardi; his parents, Doris (Cronk) and Mason Gerardi; his brother, Brian (Susan) Gerardi; his parents-in-law, Dorothy and Everett Johnson; brother-in-law, Jeff Johnson; his nieces and nephews, Brittany Fullmer, Nicole Gerardi, Kelsey Millett, Shane Johnson, Connor Johnson, Aaron Gerardi and Drew Gerardi; and other loving family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mark will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Pax Christi Catholic Church, 5761 McArthur Ranch Rd, Littleton, CO 80124, followed immediately by a Celebration of Life Reception at the church. A private inurnment will take place at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery in Centennial, Colorado.

Mark was a friend and very good customer of ours. Over the years I have worked with Mark and have enjoyed his professionalism, his humor and his great knowledge of our building industry. He will be missed by all of us here at R/W Specialties as he came to visit us often to pick something up or just to say hello. Mark was a class act and we will always remember his smile. We want to extend our deepest sympathies to his family from all of us. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Please remember all of the great times and memories that you shared with such a loving and giving person.
