Mary Elizabeth Garrett

Mary E. (Warehime) Garrett, age 95, passed away at BeeHive Assisted Living in Fort Morgan, CO, on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. She was born to William Ellis Warehime and Ruby Alice Smith Warehime on December 6, 1924 in Snyder, CO. Mary married Homer J. Garrett on December 26, 1940 in Kimball, NE. To this union were born 5 children, Juanita, Dale, Janet, Terry, and Sharon.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Homer, her daughter, Juanita, her son-in-law, Don, her daughter-in-law, JoAnn, 1 granddaughter, 2 great granddaughters, and her 12 siblings.

Mary is survived by her children, Dale, Janet Pickett (Larry), Terry (Barbara), Sharon Jones (Willie), 15 grandchildren, 38 great grand children, 51 great great grandchildren, and 1 sister-in-law.

One of Mary’s great joys in life was remembering her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, their spouses, and her friends with birthday cards.

Friends & family are invited to attend Mary’s viewing at 9:30 a.m. and memorial service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2020, at Harvest Assembly of God at 1012 Eaton St., Brush, CO.

A short time of visitation will be held after the service with family leaving for burial at Olinger Mount Lindo Cemetery in Morrison, CO.
