

Our Beloved and devoted wife, mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother, was born May 18, 1933, in Lincoln Nebraska to loving parents, William Sabin and Mary Ann Estes. Mary Lou Glass passed away February 19, 2026 at the young age of 92. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 75 years. Ed and Mary Lou began their adventurous and loving married life at the tender age of eighteen on August 10, 1951 in Lincoln Nebraska. Mary Lou was the second child to older sister Betty Jean and younger brother William Jr. who proceeded her in death. The two Sabin sisters enjoyed their youth singing together for church Holiday events. The Sabin Parents were both deaf mutes which required their children to learn American Sign Language for all their communications with their them. They started their married life in Lincoln Nebraska. They were just short of celebrating 75 years of marriage. Together they raised three children Gregory Glass (Susan), Karen Ryd (Jan), and Zachary Glass (Sandy), Next Ed’s job promoted him to Littleton in 1963. Mary Lou supported him in this new adventure with great happiness. Their family thrived in Denver with Mary Lou’s support and excitement for their new adventure. This time in her life was where she was happy and content. Mary Lou was Ed’s greatest supporter as he excelled at the YMCA career. Their spiritual life grew over the years as they became involved their community and their Methodist Church. Mary Lou enjoyed playing golf, swimming, running, hiking, racketball and adventures to the Rocky Mountains on family trips. She also taught exercise classes, health and fitness classes. Their next move was to Oklahoma City, again another job promotion for Ed and with Mary Lou’s support and blessings. Her professional career involved being an administration assistant in different capacities such as insurance, banking, investment banking and savings and loans. She was multi-talented in industries such as commercial bonds and she also was an assistant working in the mental health field. In retirement they returned to the Denver area to Parker, for the last 33 years
Over the years they welcomed Grandchildren, Jason Glass, Josh Glass, Mandie Ryd Lane, Erik Ryd, Axel Ryd, Dane Glass and Kyle Glass, their family also includes four great-grandchildren with two births expected soon.
