Mary Lee Rossi

Mary Lee, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, extended family member, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024, at the age of 84. Born and raised in Colorado, Mary Lee spent most of her young life in North Denver, where she graduated from Mont Carmel High School.

In 1962, she married her high school sweetheart, John, and they enjoyed a happy marriage of 62 years until his recent passing. Together, they raised three children, and Mary Lee took great pride in supporting John’s law firm, contributing to its success.

Once her children were grown, Mary Lee reentered the workforce, contributing her talents at a local high school and a downtown office. However, it was her role as a grandmother that brought her the greatest joy. Known as Nonny, she cherished her grandchildren and embraced the role wholeheartedly, never missing an opportunity to spoil them with love, food, and affection.

Mary Lee approached every aspect of her life with limitless energy and unconditional love, leaving a lasting impact on her family, church community, and many charitable organizations. Her spirit and kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mary Lee is survived by her three children, Sherri McAninch, Doug Rossi and Vince Rossi, and her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces/nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, October 28 at Our Lady of Loreto Church with a prayer service starting at 10:00 AM and Celebration of Life Mass at 10:30 AM. Following the Mass, please join the family for a memorial luncheon in Mary Lee's honor.
