Mary K. Stemper, 87, died peacefully in her home on November 25th. Mary is survived by her 4 sons: Steve, Kent, Jeff and Jon; her 3 daughters in law: Cathy, Elizabeth and Monique; her 9 grandchildren and her 10 great-grandchildren.
Mary was born in Bellwood, Nebraska and married her high school sweetheart Bob Stemper. They lived in Nebraska, Kansas, and Ohio before settling in Colorado in 1974. Bob and Mary were married for nearly 62 years when Bob died in 2019. Mary’s life was driven by purpose; and family and her Christian faith were the foundation of it all. She was always looking to serve others: her family, her friends, those in need, and her church and the community. Seeing her children and grandchildren continue in the faith was her greatest blessing. Mary was known by all for her love, her faith, her beautiful heart, being kind and compassionate, and always there to help those in need.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 6:30-7:30PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary at 6601 S. Colorado Blvd in Centennial, CO. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 11:00AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 8035 S. Quebec St., in Centennial, CO. Mary will be laid to rest at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery in Centennial, CO at 3:00pm on November 30, 2023.
