Michael Nicholas Kripakov

Michael Nicholas Kripakov, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, at the age of 55. A proud Colorado native, Michael lived a life full of creativity, laughter, faith, and music.

A man of God, Michael found joy and purpose in sharing his gifts with others. He was a gifted musician who could make any room brighter with his talent on the guitar, piano, and drums. Music was not just his passion—it was his way of bringing people together. Michael earned his master’s degree in music composition from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and spent his life creating and performing pieces that touched the hearts of all who heard them.

Michael’s sense of humor was one of his defining qualities. Always ready with a joke or a witty movie quote, he had an unmatched ability to make those around him laugh and feel at ease. Outside of music, he loved the outdoors—especially skiing and biking through the beautiful Colorado landscapes he called home.

He also had a deep love for animals, and his dogs were his loyal companions through all of life’s adventures—most especially his beloved Bailey.

Michael is survived by his mother, his brother, and his two nephews, who will forever cherish his warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit. He is preceded in death by his father.
