Minna Bertha Bobby

Minna Bertha Bobby passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the age of 107. She is survived by her two sons, William (Glenda) and Thomas (Dawn) and three grandchildren, Greg (Tonya), Bill (Misha) and Kimberly (Josh). She had five great-grandchildren, Ashley, Jenna and Nolan Bobby and Addison and Cole Bandy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Daniel and Minna (Merklinghaus) Breunsbach, and four sisters, Hilma Eckert, Clara Smith, Viola Eagan and Nelda Ware.

Being from a farm, Minna enjoyed being outdoors and tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. She was a homemaker and dearly loved her family. Minna lived in her Lakewood home for 62 years until moving to assisted living at Morningstar Littleton where she lived for the past ten years. She loved traveling and was thrilled to visit her ancestral country of Germany. Minna is the last charter member of the small congregational church formed in 1953 that became Lakewood United Church of Christ.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, 1:30 p.m., at Lakewood United Church of Christ, 100 Carr Street, Lakewood, CO 80226. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lakewood United Church of Christ.
