Mohrine Comstock

She was born in Guthrie Center, Iowa on April 23, 1915. Mohrine went to high school in Judith Gap, Montana, graduating as a 4 year letterman in basketball. After high school she attended Business College in Billings, Montana and later worked for the Martin-Marietta company. She married Carlos A. Comstock, June 12, 1937, and they had three children---Carla, Andra and Chester.

Mohrine celebrated her 60 year marriage to Carlos Comstock, a World War II Veteran, in 1997 before his death. She was a Diamond Lifetime Master of Bridge and was a strong advocate of the game including teaching others. She was never short on telling stories, and she always made time to hear a good story and have a good laugh.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Carla and Andra, and one grandchild, Sarah Jacobs; and is survived by her son, Chester Comstock; grandchildren, William Moore, Jude Moore, Trig Smith, Heather Callahan, Schuyler Smith, Seth Comstock, Jason Comstock; and great grandchildren, William, Arman, Marcus, Max, Ronin Moore; Preshet and Mikaela Moore; Felicia and Ariana Jacobs; and Thomas, Connor and Keane Callahan.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011, 10:00 AM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121.
