Nancy Joyce Bert (Powell), age 83, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Nancy was born May 11, 1938 to Dexter and Morva (Jones) Powell in Trenton, Nebraska. She graduated valedictorian from Littleton High School in 1956, just a short time before she married her love, Donald E. Bert in Littleton, CO on April 12, 1957. She worked and volunteered with Englewood Public Schools and Littleton Courts, earning Colorado Volunteer of the year in 1984 and Englewood High School Recognition of Significant Volunteer Contribution. Nancy loved to garden, bake, read, and craft. She was ornery, but had a caring and giving heart for those around her.
She is survived by her children, Kevin Bert and Denise DeHerrera and her grandchildren, Alina Peisley, Ashley Peisley, and Cassandra Bert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bert.
