I miss you, Uncle Nick, I know you’re an Angel, because even on Earth you were. I love you!

I had the pleasure of working with Nick on many FEMA declared disasters.  He was a very friendly, kind, inteligent person who also  was a devout Christian.  He resolved many obstacles while working on the continuous flooding in the Devils Lake North Dakota basin during the wet years.  He was very helpful to the North Dakota Indian Tribes, shipping them many packages of clothing during winter months.   I think of him often and miss him.

Can't believe it has been a year since Nick passed. We'll always be brothers in Zeta Psi. And you will always be remembered fondly.

We are so shocked and sorry to hear of Nick's passing.  Just found out through an internet site.  Chuck met Nick at Martin Marrieta.  We were newly weds from California.  We so appreciated Nick and Lynn's warmth and hospitality and were invited  to celebrate our first Thanksgiving with them.  Many memories followed including skiing outings, picnics, baseball and basketball events,  When we were in between returning to California, they graciously let us stay in their basement a few weeks.  Our condolences to Lynn and the whole family.  Thankfully we have God's promise that we will see our dear loved again.  Hugs, Chuck and Anja Pavlak

I knew Nick from running with the Rocky Mountain Roadrunners. i joined in 1976. He was a true runner and helped everyone with such enthusiasm for the sport. Because of circumstances with the pandemic and other things in my life, i just today have learned of his passing nearly 2 months ago. How devastating and shocking it is to not have had the opportunity to be there to properly honor his memory at the proper time. Fare ye well, my good friend. The race is  over and you ran a victorious one, in deed! your friend.

Nick was a fraternity brother of mine at UConn. Loved his calm demeanor regardless of the situation. We enjoyed some great times but sadly lost track of him after we graduated. I only reconnected with him on Facebook in the past few years to find out he was a fellow skier and golfer. Wish I could have seen him again. Life is too short.

Nick ran the Denver Marathon with and trained the then Denver Mayor Federico Pena.  It was an easy run for Nick, but a struggle for Pena as it was his first marathon.  I took this picture at the finish line.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Nick's passing.  Nick was a friend of my Dad's (Vince) when they both worked at Martin Marietta.  My dad introduced me to Nick at a 10k running race that we were all doing.  My dad told me what a good marathon runner Nick was.  When Nick learned I was working on a mining engineering degree at CSM he told me if I needed a summer job to give him a call.  That next summer I did and he got me a part-time job at the Bureau of Mines where he worked.  After graduation 2 years later he also helped me get a full time job there where I worked for the next 15 years.  Nick was a friend, very important mentor, and my boss for several years.  I owe him a lot and miss him.  Picture is Nick and I in Pittsburgh on business trip.

There are times in our lives when we meet someone that is extraordinarily special and that's what happened to me the day I met Nick. We became close friends and I was fortunate enough to share many great times with him. His personality and faith were contagious as he not only talked about giving and kindness he lived his live emanating both. He will be truly missed.

I was so sorry to hear Nick had passed away.  I worked along side Nick on many Presidential Disaster Recovery efforts (most of them in North 
Dakota).  He was such an intelligent, friendly and kind person.   He spent many years working in ND and was well liked by everyone.   One of his many duties was working with the Indian Tribes.  He was so concerned about the suffering at one of tribal Reservations he sent huge boxes of winter clothing, for which they were very thankful.  Nick and I also shared our religious beliefs in Jesus Christ our Saviour.    My prayers of comfort go to all his family

So saddened to hear of Nick’s passing.  My condolences go out to Lynn and the family.  I got to know Nick while working the Colorado flooding disaster for FEMA from ‘13-‘16.  He was always happy and caring gentleman.  He will be greatly missed. 

Nick was just a wonderful human being! A good friend and a superb colleague over the years. I will miss him. 

Very sad to hear about Nick’s passing. I got to know Nick through FEMA work in 2015. We enjoyed skiing at Keystone and golf over the years. My condolences to Lynn and the family. Nick was such a wonderful, carrying guy and a true gentleman. He will be missed by all. 

So sorry about Nick's passing.  We worked together on FEMA business for many years.  Nick was great to work with, and very dedicated to his work.  I am blessed to have known him and his wife.
