O'Deane Holloway

O’Deane was born in Gunnison, Colorado to William and Gertrude Holloway on February 19, 1937. He grew up in small towns on the western slope and graduated from Palisade High School. He attended University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. He married Martha Smith from Louisiana. O’Deane and Martha were married 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Martha and his two children, Paul Holloway of Denver, Colorado and Julie Holloway, Charlotte, North Carolina. O’Deane was the youngest of 4 brothers. He is survived by two brothers, Verne Holloway of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Gene Holloway of Newport Beach, California. His brother Duane Holloway of Wylie Texas preceded him in death last September.

O’Deane was a longtime church member of University Hills Baptist Church and most recently has attended Greenwood Community Church in Denver. He worked in the banking industry in his early years and in recent years worked in real estate in his company, Smith-Holloway Investments.

O’Deane was a dedicated husband and father. He had a love of life that will not be forgotten. He had a servant’s heart. He will be dearly missed by all of those whose lives he touched.

A memorial service will be held in his memory on Saturday morning, October 20 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary at 6601 S. Colorado Blvd. Centennial, Colorado 80121. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00. The memorial service will begin at 10:00.
