Pamela Lynn Cornforth

Pam (Morris) Cornforth passed away at home on the morning of July 4, 2026 surrounded by family. During the last months of her life, she was in and out of the hospital until ultimately going under the care of a hospice team. She had been fighting debilitating symptoms from a long term illness, and was grateful to spend the last months of her life at home surrounded by family. Pam had just celebrated her 72nd birthday.

Pam was born on June 25, 1954 in Bismark, ND. She moved to Denver, CO in 1958. In 1968, she moved to Centennial, CO when her parents built the house that she resided in for most of her life. Pam married Bill Cornforth on June 14th, 1975 at St Thomas More Church. During the early years of their marriage, Pam and Bill lived in Longmont, Corey, and Norwood. They spent 5 years running Bill’s family ranch in Norwood, CO. During their time on the western slope, they had their two daughters, Kellie and Kayla. In 1985, Pam’s family moved back to Centennial, CO and lived in Pam’s childhood home with her mother, Maureen Morris. Pam and Bill were able to celebrate their 51st anniversary shortly before her passing. Pam spent 30 years working for Littleton Public Schools. For the majority of her career with the school district she worked as a bookkeeper for Arapahoe High School, and in the district’s finance department. She retired 2 years ago.

Pam loved the outdoors. She was always up for a road trip at a drop of a hat. Pam and her family were always on the lookout for wildlife, but her favorite animal sighting was always when they spotted a moose. For much of her life she loved to go fishing and camping. As Pam’s family grew, she enjoyed spending time with everyone in a cabin in the woods. Pam was also an amazing chef. You could often find her in the kitchen making extraordinary meals that overflowed with her love. She was also an incredible baker and cake decorator. Pam made amazing birthday cakes for her family and friends, and passed that love onto her daughters and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Cornforth, and her two daughters, Kellie Lewis and Kayla Cornforth, who all live in the Denver Metro area. Pam’s mother-in-law, Hallie Cornforth, also lives in the Denver Metro area. Kellie is married to Dale Lewis and they have two daughters; Lindsay and Lauren. Pam’s granddaughters were the light of her life. She loved and embraced her role as their Nana. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Maureen Morris, her sister, Deborah Bleser, and her brother, Gary (Mike) Morris.

Pam requested that her life not be mourned at a funeral service, but rather her life be celebrated. The family is planning a Celebration of Life for her on August 8, 2026.
