Raymond Bridgeman passed peacefully May 20, 2025 at the age of 94. He moved to Morningstar Senior Living last September after living independently for many years at his condo in Aurora. The Morningstar community welcomed him with open arms and he soon became a favorite. Everyone knew who Ray was and everyone he greeted soon had a new name - Honey, especially his care team. I can’t say enough about their commitment to him and Bloom Hospice care as well for the last few months as his health declined.
Ray was a native born in Denver Colorado on June 14th, 1930 which is also Flag Day. He made sure we didn’t forget that fact. He joined the Navy soon after graduating from East High serving four years, claiming it was the best four years of his life. The jobs he held were mostly in sales but his favorite before retiring was in the printing department at Arapahoe Community College. His retirement years were spent traveling and spending time with family. He loved to go to Las Vegas and was always looking for someone to go with him.
Ray is survived by his daughters Cindy Henderson( Son-in-law David) and Cheryl Rueda (Son-in-law David), Sally Weber, his Brother David Bridgeman, Grandchildren Kelly, Tyler, Jennifer, Stephanie, Sarah, Josie, Great Grandchildren Sarai, Brayden, Shiloh, Jazmine, Jack, Stevie Jade, Paxton, Great Great Grandchildren Grayson, Luka and Izzy.
There will be a celebration of life in the near future. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his name in lieu of flowers.
