

Robert was born in Glendale, California, on August 28, 1936, the second son of Johnnie Clois Honeycutt and Ethel Lucy Dunn. He grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he played quarterback on the varsity football team at Las Vegas High School, graduating with the class of 1954.
After high school, Robert joined the Naval Reserve and served as a hospital corpsman during the Korean War. Following his service, he worked in a grocery store, where he met the love of his life, Alma Lee Loftin. They were married in Las Vegas on March 10, 1959. Together, they built a family and shared a lifetime of love, faith, and
service.
Robert enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, including fishing, hunting, construction, oil painting, gardening, and cooking. He excelled in everything he did, but above all, he had a remarkable gift for making everyone around him feel loved and valued.
A graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas in 1967, Robert practiced dentistry in Arlington, Texas, for more than 25 years. He was admired not only for his professional skill but also for his kindness and generosity.
Robert is survived by his children: Kathy Feil, Peggy Harrelson (Jim), Diana Giblette (Todd), and April Redd (Tom). He was richly blessed with 17 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren—each of whom brought him immense joy.
A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Robert served faithfully as a leader in congregations throughout Arlington, blessing countless lives with his compassion, testimony, and service. Later in life, he and Alma also served together as missionaries in the Fort Worth, Texas Stake. His example of faith, humility, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him.
He will be remembered as a man of unwavering faith, boundless love, and genuine kindness. His legacy lives on in the generations who follow him and in the countless lives he touched.
Robert’s life will be honored in a private family ceremony. The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who have shared their tender and loving memories of him.
