Robert Johns

Bob graduated from Denver’s South High School, where he met Ann, the love of his life. He graduated ’47 and participated on 3 consecutive All-State basketball teams. He then attended CU Boulder graduating with degrees in Civil Engineering and Business Administration. Bob served as Vice President of Martin Marietta over launch vehicles and was a former Mayor of Bow Mar, CO.

Bob was an active member of Faith Bible Chapel South and was a long-time leader and participant of Community Bible Study.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Ann Johns; sons, Jeffrey (Kitty), Frank (Tina), William (Vanessa), and David (Jeannie); 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joseph Johns.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cherry Hills Community Church on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel. The family suggests donations in memory of Robert Johns to Young Life, PO Box 664, Longmont, CO, 80502; or Faith Bible Chapel South, 4250 S. Federal Blvd, Sheridan, CO 80110; or the Bow Mar Foundation.
