Born on September 17, 1947, in Texas, Bob was a cherished son of Myrtle and Vern Mann, and a brother to John Mann. At 19, he answered the call to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Navy, where he proudly served for four years.
Bob met the love of his life, Teresa, at a party—one of those chance encounters that change everything. She was just 19 at the time, and Robert, 12 years her senior, was instantly smitten. That fateful meeting sparked a beautiful partnership that would span 46 years of marriage. Their devotion to each other was unwavering until Teresa’s passing earlier this year on March 22, 2025. Together, they built a life full of laughter, adventure, and deep family roots, raising two children, Robbie and Naomie.
Bob found immense joy in being a grandfather to Maurice Mann, Vern Mann-Sanchez, and Hollibeth Mann. His love for family knew no bounds, and he was never happier than when surrounded by those he loved.
Bob had a deep love for the Colorado Rockies and the Denver Broncos. Sundays during football season were sacred—and often loud. His infamous “Bronco Brick,” a foam brick he’d throw at the TV whenever the Broncos were losing, became legendary in the Mann household. Despite the theatrics, his loyalty to his teams never wavered. One of his most cherished traditions was taking his mother, Myrtle—who shared his September 17th birthday—to a Rockies or Broncos game every year until her passing.
Bob also enjoyed the thrill of a good scratch-off ticket. Whether he won or lost, he relished the excitement, always hoping that the next one might just be the big winner.
Bob had a passion for building intricate models of trains and planes, and he found peace and joy outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, and camp, and delighted in passing those traditions on to his children and grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
