I came across this photo and all I can think of is you screaming FREEDOM while zipping around at the peoples fair. Most people talk about their little red wagon, yours was a little red scooter. You are with me every day pappa:-)

Bob always had such a pleasant demeanor.  His presence is much missed around MAR.  Richard & I send our thoughts and prayers.

These past few days have been hard. I sit upstairs working waiting to hear you cough, or play the TV too loud but it is quiet. I look at the clock and think it is time to see what you want for lunch today, but you are not there. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I think about getting ready to come pick you up, but there is no need. I have news I want to share with you and you are not there for me to tell. I cry and your shoulder is missing for me to lean on. All those things I took for granted are gone now and I miss them. Your laughter, your smile and your devilish ways. I love you daddy and I miss you terribly. I wait for you to come home and know you never will and it breaks my heart. I think about moments in time with you and hold them dear to my heart but not even memories can replace the ache I feel for you now. You were my friend, my confidant and my advisor. I feel lost without you. I have to believe that you are at peace and that you are looking down on me and guiding me through each day as that is the only way I can find comfort.I have to believe that you are pain free and smiling each day and able to see your mother and father so that I can accept that you are gone. But believing all that does not make it any easier knowing that I will not see your beautiful face each morning when I wake up. I love you and miss you dad. You gave me life and love and for that I thank you. I am the luckiest girl alive to have had you in my life if only for a short time. I just wish I could have had more. Hugs and kisses to the greatest dad around. I hope when my time comes you will be waiting for me with open arms. Love Lee

Aunt Nancy, Leona, Bobby and Shane,

I am so sorry for this loss.  We loved Uncle Barry so much, as you all know.  I have so many wonderful memories of him that I will cherish.  Brook loved him immensley.  We asked her if she would like us to tell Uncle Barry anything for her last week, and her reponse was 'well, no, Uncle Barry already knows how much I love him!'  We love you all very much, and are so thankful to have you and to have had Uncle Barry as part of our lives.

What a beautiful ceremony for Bob. He is please with how wonderfully you presented him and his life. I did not know about how Bob and you Nancy raised Bob's siblings. What wonderful hearts you both have. I know that you all are going to miss him. We are too. Love you all so very much. Thanks for all of your love and care that you give to each and everyone of us.

I want to tell much I love you all and how sorry I am for your loss and the great loss the family has endured.  Murphy was one of the father figures we had while growing up and he stepped up to the plate on so many occasions with his sage advice.

I know we all lovingly referred to  him as  â€œThe Bearâ€  because he  had the tendency at times to be gruff, but in fact  that endearment suits him in so many other ways.  He was ferocious in his love of family and the way he would try to protect and keep them from harm.   Also,  in his strength that he had in fighting  the health obstacles that have plagued him in past years. His heart was as big as his bark.

While the last 16 years we have been  geographically removed from each others  everyday life,  I hold dear my memories .  Memories like squirt gun and water balloon fights on Fath Drive.  Camping at Indian Lake, fresh cabbage from his vegtable garden in CrystaL Lake,   and Pachinko games. I think I got my artistic talents from him.  I had always hoped he had finished his paintings. I will always remember exploring  Mammoth Caves and our trip through Kentucky.  Our long talks when everyone  else went to bed. Exciting competitive,crossboarding Risk games ,â€ he, he, heâ€! Fireworks, and drive in movies the racesâ€¦I think Barry and Nancy gave us a lot of ourâ€ firstsâ€
 He welcomed me into his house and offered it up as a refuge in troubled times.    It was my second home.  I can never repay Nancy and Barry for that.  I will forever cherish those times.  He was there for all of us, Mom included.  All he needed to see was the need and he was there.  Thank you Murphy!!  I love youâ€¦.more than you would ever know.

Dear Nancy,
We never met you, but Bob was a part of our lives for many years He sold us printing equip and took very good care of us.We missed him when he retired. He spoke of his family often to us. We are sorry for your loss and know he will be greatly missed . He was a very nice person

Dear Nancy, Leona & Shane,
We will always remember the good times on the Howard Murphy Hill.  You were family to us. Now Howard is gone and part of the Murphys are gone.  We used to joke about when we were all gone.  People would say, "who in the world was Howard Murphy". We remember when Shane was born and how much his grandpa loved him. Bob will surely be missed.  You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Barry, My brother and my friend. Thank you for being there for me, you love, advice and guidance helped me be the person I am today. You took on a role of farther to us when you were just starting your family and you loved us all. I will miss you, and I love you. I hope I made you proud of who I am.
