Bob E. attended Vernor Elementary School and Cooley High School in Detroit, MI. He served in the Navy and was deployed to Viet Nam. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA Degree.
He married Jean Blandino in 1969. They had two children, Curtis and Nicole.
In 1987, Bob E. moved to Colorado where he met Maryann Gold. They married in 1998.
He belonged to T O High School Fraternity, Free and Accepted Masons of Michigan and El Jebel Shrine in Colorado where he was President of the Boulder Shrine Club and the Classics Unit several times. He was a member of the Colorado Order of the Eastern Star where he served as Worthy Patron in various Chapters many times. He was a member of the Order of the Amaranth.
In Michigan, Bob E. worked as an HVAC technician and for AT&T. In Colorado, he retired as Vice President in charge of the bottling plant at Eldorado Springs Natural Spring Water Company, Louisville, CO.
For enjoyment, he loved talking to people, watching all kinds of sports, playing golf and traveling. He liked boating, fishing and swimming. He loved dogs, but most of all, he loved his family and his country.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, his first wife and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Surviving him are his wife, Maryann; his son, Curtis (Mahana); his daughter, Nicole (Roger); his grandchildren, Cate, Asher, Celine, Olivia and Josh; his nephew, Michael (Jodi) and great niece, Emma; his brother-in-law, Harry and many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to El Jebel Shrine Transportation Fund or to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
