Ronnie was born in Texas, raised in New Mexico, and served as a Marine during the Vietnam War. He had a wonderful career as a National Park Service ranger, working at several national monuments: Aztec, Navajo, Wupatki, Sunset Crater, and Colorado. He later worked in the NPS Rocky Mountain Regional Office.
After retiring, he volunteered at Grand Canyon National Park, Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument, and Minidoka National Historic Site. He prioritized his role as a husband and father. Time with family and friends often meant hiking and camping together. They will keep his legacy alive through their memories of his actions and stories.
