With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Russell Parker Boyd, who left us on July 25, 2026, at his grandparents' residence. Born on August 20, 2014, Parker was a cherished son, brother, and grandson whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Parker attended Falcon Creek Middle School, where he not only pursued his education but also developed passions that defined his youthful years. Parker enjoyed hanging out with his friends, riding his e-bike, and playing video games. His kind soul attracted others of all ages. He was a young man of remarkable character, whose presence illuminated every room he entered. Parker's interests and talents were reflections of a life well-lived, though far too brief, marked by a spirited zeal for the things he loved.
Parker leaves behind a family that loved him dearly. He is survived by his parents, Russell Corry and Caitlyn Boyd, along with his brothers Tatum Brinkley and Maddox Boyd. His grandmothers, Nicole Penvari and Marlinda Boyd, remain pillars of support and remembrance for all who knew Parker. He was also grandson to Todd Boyd,, Bill Ottens and Poppy Penvari, and nephew to Amber Ottens and Desiree Beardsley. We also remember with respect those family members who have passed before him: his great-grandmother Vicki Copple and cousin Amelia Poole. Their memories live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Parker's life will be held on August 3, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM at Olinger Funeral Home, located at 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, Colorado 80121. This gathering will offer friends, family, and community members a chance to reflect, share memories, and pay their respects to a young life that profoundly impacted so many.
Parker's journey was brief, yet his impact remains enduring and heartfelt. He will be remembered for his zest for life, his kind nature, and the joy he brought to those around him. His memory will forever be a blessing to all who had the honor of knowing him.
