Ruth Valencia of Centennial, Colorado peacefully entered the glory of Heaven on February 16, 2025, at the age of 88. Ruth was born on January 25, 1937, in Fruita, Colorado to Max and Shone Otero. She was married to Marion Valencia in February of 1955. Together they shared the gift of five children. Ruth treasured her faith and family and found great purpose in helping those who needed encouragement and guidance. In her earlier retirement years, she often volunteered her time by ministering to those who were incarcerated and in need of God’s love. She fulfilled her dream of travelling to Israel to experience the footsteps of her Savior. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five siblings and two daughters. She touched the lives of many. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Ruth Otero Valencia will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
