Passed away on Dec. 25, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne. She is survived by her children: Mike (Lisa) Miller of Grand Rapids, MI, and Brenda Hoff of Guadalupe, CA; and the second love of her life, Stephen Filipiak of Centennial, CO; sister, Josephine Krokos of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter Robin Miller and grandson Kyle (Ivonne) Miller and great granddaughter Olivia Miller; and nine nieces and nephews. She retired as an RN from Swedish Hospital after 17 years of service. In her retirement, Sara enjoyed gardening and traveling throughout the country seeing family and friends for as long as she was able. A viewing will be Wed., Dec. 29 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm all at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary and Cemetery, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Littleton, CO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Denver Hospice.
