Born on September 8, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Shirley and Owen Munstock, Scott graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell College with a degree in Economics and later met the love of his life, Pamela, at Dartmouth College. Over the course of a 40-year career, he worked for IBM and Nissan North America.
Scott was known for his sharp wit, deep devotion to his family, and his love of gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He dedicated countless hours to causes that reflected his generous spirit and commitment to making the world a better place—donating plasma and platelets, volunteering at the St. Francis Center in Denver, participating in political activism, and contributing his time and energy to Washington Park United Church of Christ in Denver.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pamela; his brother, Daniel; his sons, Seth and Michael; and three cherished grandchildren.
A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Friday, May 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Washington Park UCC in Denver.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Littleton Adventist Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Francis Center of Denver or Washington Park UCC, or, in keeping with Scott’s spirit of giving, you are encouraged to donate blood, plasma, or platelets at your local hospital.
