Stephen "Steve" Allen Norwood

Stephen (Steve) was born in Denver on October 8, 1965 to Joseph and Mary Norwood and grew up in Lakewood, Colorado.

Being a Colorado native, Steve loved the Rocky Mountains. In his youth he could be found with friends kayaking, hiking, anything outdoors! He enjoyed golfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, motor-crossing and he especially enjoyed anything with wheels! His love of snowboarding led to a career in the snow sports industry where he traveled the Rocky Mountain region as a rep for a snowboarding company. It was at an Expo event that he met his wife Kim. It was their love of snowboarding and hockey that started their life of 19 years together. Steve and Kim were married on April 27, 2002 and enjoyed life together at their first home in Leadville, CO and then later made their home in Littleton.

Steve will be remembered by many for his passion for old cars and anything mechanical. He and his wife Kim enjoyed a full life in Denver. They could be seen pulling up to a car show or a music event in either their 1961 Ford Thunderbird, 1965 Ford Thunderbird or their 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL. Steve could often be found in his garage or under the hood of an old car. There wasn’t a car he couldn’t fix! Steve was a dear friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Steve was preceded in death by his father Joseph Norwood.

He is survived by his mother Mary Norwood, his wife Kim Norwood, and his daughters Erin and Lindsey Norwood.
