Stephen was born on November 19, 1950, in Illinois to Marilyn and Edward Peel. He grew up alongside his siblings, Douglas Peel, Jennifer Peel, and his brother Robert Peel, who preceded him in death.
For 47 wonderful years, Stephen shared his life with his beloved wife, Kristin Peel. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Haley Peel, and warmly welcomed his daughter-in-law, Kim Peel, into the family. Stephen also cherished his step-grandchildren, Freya and Bridgette Seymore, who brought him great joy.
Stephen was the proud owner of Kittredge Auto Body Rebuilders, where he worked alongside his longtime business partner and friend, Kenny Earhardt.
One of Stephen's greatest passions was creating beauty with his own hands. At the family home on Turkey Creek Road, he transformed the property into a remarkable landscape filled with massive rock trails, beautiful flower beds, and peaceful waterfalls. He also enjoyed spending time at Tiny Town, a place that held many special moments for him and his loved ones.
Stephen embraced life outdoors. Whether he was camping, four-tracking through the mountains, relaxing around a campfire with a cold beer, or simply spending time with family and friends, he found happiness in life's simple pleasures.
Stephen's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
