Susan Jane Demers

Survived by son, Scott, daughter Terri, daughter-in-law Lisa, granddaughters Denise, Morgan, and Rachel, and her brother Randy, her niece and nephews.

Sue enjoyed spending time with family, line dancing at the park and recreations centers, photography, quilting, plants, terrariums, reading & book club, mah jongg, Mexican Train dominos, luncheons out, and socializing. She had many longtime friends and enjoyed being with her fun neighbors. When she was younger, she enjoyed camping and fishing, hiking, and having a mountain cabin. She enjoyed life.

Sue spent her career with US West and thrived with the challenges in the engineering department. She loved retirement. She met many friends during her time at work that she enjoyed and continued friendship with through her retirement.

Sue was the daughter of newspaper folks, Arthur and Clara Carr. She loved daily newspapers her entire life, and published newsletters about various activities she was involved with. Sue is a native of Colorado, and attended Metro State University.

A visitation for Susan will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121 with funeral service to immediately follow. Sue will be laid to rest at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery.
