Theresa, “Terry” May Tracy Wahl passed peacefully in the early hours on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Loving Care Assisted Living in Littleton. Terry was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 5, 1937 to James Tracy and Amy Miller Tracy. Terry grew up in Monroe, Michigan close to cousins, an Aunt, and many Uncles. Terry attended Michigan State University earning a teaching degree and making life-long friends and memories. Terry met her husband, Rich, at MSU. After getting married Terry taught high school business classes before having her first child and helping her husband do the accounting for their Lawn Irrigation business. After years in Michigan and 3 children later, Terry and her husband picked up and moved to Colorado landing in the foothills of Evergreen. When the kids were grown, Terry and Rich moved to the mountain town Edwards where they lived for 30 years before settling in Littleton, Colorado. Oftentimes, you could find Terry singing showtimes from her favorite musicals, in the Ski Lodge by the fire waiting for her family to come down the mountain for lunch while she knitted, or, cheering on the sidelines while her daughters or grandkids played their games, had their concerts, or acted in their plays. Helping others was a passion of Terry’s giving her many opportunities to volunteer during the Rocky Mountain PBS Fundraisers, in the winter at Beaver Creek for the ski races, and summers at the Vail Dance Festival. Terry’s faith encouraged her to volunteer as a co-chair at Vail Bible’s Vacation Bible School for consecutive years. Seeing children accept Jesus brought her much joy. Terry and Rich spent many years traveling with family and friends enjoying places such as Jamaica, Hawaii, and cruises with David Jeremiah, and Charles Family. Those travels sparked interest in purchasing a winter home in Carlsbad California. For many years, Terry and Rich traveled to California during the winter months where they found new friends to cherish, different scenery, and discovered exciting activities to do. Terry is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rich of Littleton, Colorado, daughters, Tracy (Chuck Kersch) of Morrison, Colorado, Kelly (Tad Degen) of Gypsum, Colorado, and Jody (Allen Nolting) of Greenwood Village, Colorado, grandkids, Ian Kersch (Jill) of Peyton, Colorado, Colin Kersch of Castle Rock, Colorado, Brylee Degen of Gypsum, Colorado, Kailee Chavez of San Clemente, California, Asher Nolting of Phoenix, Arizona, and Oliver Nolting of Greenwood Village, Colorado.
