Thomas H. Frick died September 29th, 2021 surrounded with love by his wife of 57 years, his three sons and their families. He was born January 2nd, 1943 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Robert and Grace Frick.
Tom graduated from Gering High School in 1961 before serving his country in the United States Air Force until 1965 at which time he pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. After graduating in 1969, Tom and Kathy moved to Denver, Colorado where Tom began his career with Public Service Company of Colorado where he worked and retired from in 1998 after almost thirty years. After retiring, Tom & Kathy spent the next year in Queensland, Australia where Tom supported Kathy’s dream of teaching abroad. Tom & Kathy returned home to Morrison, Colorado where they lived in their dream home on Red Rocks Country Club and although retired, Tom & Kathy produced and promoted Math’s Mate, an Australian math resource which kept them very busy. Tom enjoyed time with his family, being very active with his ten grandkids and playing a little golf, “every month of the year”. Although Tom’s body was failing him, his spirit, and orneriness, remained strong. Tom golfed, and complained, up until the end when he met his maker in love and peace.
