

He is preceded in death by his parents Bertha (Grubler) and Carl Neider, his brother Robert Neider, his sisters Patricia (Neider) Murray and Mary Louise Neider. He leaves behind his 4 children Jean/Steve (Neider) Walters of Concord OH , Christine/Todd (Neider) Hunsucker of Loveland CO, Thomas/Ronda Neider of Eagleville PA and Mark/Neile Neider of Aurora CO, 8 greatly loved grandchildren and adored 2 great-grandchildren.
After his parent’s death at age 9 Tom went to live with his Uncle Harry and Aunt Dode (Grubler) Marple. Tom graduated from Central Catholic High School in Wheeling, W. Va in 1951 and then enlisted in the USAF during the Korean Conflict. He served stateside in Supply and Inventory from 1952 until 1956 and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. He qualified for the GI Bill, allowing him to apply and graduate from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. While attending school he met and later married Marie Malecki in 1959 and although they later divorced, they remained friends throughout their lifetime.
After graduating Tom went for work for Authur Young and Company in Pittsburgh. He later passed his CPA exam and took a position with PPG Industries. He spent several years with PPG holding several different positions in several different parts of the country. He retired from PPG as the CFO of the Oil and Gas division in Denver. Tom later took a position with the Dawson School in Louisville as the Head of their Accounting Dept for about 5 years.
Tom was very active in his Church St. Thomas More in Centennial. He was a member of the New Life Group and helped with collection at the church. He also volunteered and served on the board of the Arapahoe Library for many years.
Tom will be remembered by is his family and friends as a man who loved his family, loved to dance and whistled on every occasion he could.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Thomas More Church in Centennial Co, or the Arapahoe Public Library.
A funeral mass for Tom will be held at St. Thomas More in Centennial, Colorado on October 20th at 11:30am. He will later be buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Wheeling, West Virginia November 18th.
