Victoria Marie Lange, 29, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, after a courageous battle with a GI-related illness. She was surrounded by the love of her family, who will carry her memory with them always.
Victoria was born on September 8, 1997 in Iowa City, Iowa, to Dana S and Dana J Lange. She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Denver.
Victoria was diagnosed with Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder, but it never defined her. She met every challenge with strength and spirit that amazed everyone who knew her. Victoria had her own beautiful way of connecting nonverbally with the world through her ocean blue eyes and infectious smile. She taught those around her about patience, advocacy, unconditional love, and finding happiness in simple moments.
Victoria found joy in getting out in the community to the Denver Aquarium and the Butterfly Pavilion amongst the many cultural venues she enjoyed. She enjoyed music therapy, being out in the sunshine, and a good beach day. Her presence brought warmth and light to every gathering.
Above all, Victoria was surrounded by family, caregivers and friends who adored her. She shared a special bond with her sister, Sarah.
Victoria faced each day with remarkable strength and grace. Her courage inspired everyone around her, and the love she gave so freely will continue to ripple through the lives of all who knew her. Her energy is unmatched.
