Violet Aneta (Martin) Gale, 101 years old, passed away on Feb 5, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuel A. Gale and stepdaughter, Betty Jean (Gale) James. She is survived by her daughter, Elsie (Gale) Leiker and son Albert D. Gale (Kathy); 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She was a Colorado native born on the Martin Farm in eastern Colorado on September 11, 1914. She worked as a bookkeeper, secretary, and homemaker and was active all of her life in her church.
Services will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church, 2695 S Franklin. Burial will be held at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO at 2:30 pm.
