Bill was born March 14, 1934 to the late Charles Eugene Milton and Mary Ella McMillen in Liberty, Missouri.
Bill shared an extraordinary 72 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Betty L. Milton. Together, they built a life and family that he cherished.
He's survived by his wife, Betty Milton (McCrary); his daughter, Becky Forsgren; his son, William Milton II "Rich"; his daughter-in-law, (Laura Milton); his son-in-law (Kirk Forsgren) and his grandchildren, Taya Milton, William Milton III, Amanda Shepherd, Sara Forsgren, Jennie Sims, Natalie Neece, Betty Sims, and his brother, William Sharp "Corkey".
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Beth Ann Neece, and his grandson, Nicholas Milton, his beloved brother Gene Milton and sister Barbra Proffitt and sister-in-law (Sally Milton).
Bill will not only be missed but also remembered for the example and character he portrayed.
A small family graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 10:00am Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121, US, on August 27, 2026, at 10:00am.
