William G. Sipple, 59, beloved husband and best friend of Susan Papo Sipple, passed away surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved on April 24, 2016.

Bill was incredibly proud of his two daughters, Allison and Kimberly, who he loved with all his heart and soul. They will miss him and carry him with them for the rest of their lives. Bill is also survived by his three brothers, Robert, Gary and Terry Sipple, his brother and sister in-law, Mark Papo and Susan Marquith, and his nieces and nephew, Katie Papo, Jenny Papo, Shayna Weisnicht and Bobby Sipple.

Bill grew up in Madison, WI and graduated from the Hotel School at Cornell University in 1979, where he met his wife of 28 years. For 37 years, he worked in the tight-knit Hotel Development and Investment community, spending time at Ramada, Starwood, Carlson, and, for the last 5 years, as the owner of HVS Capital Corporation. He lived in many places around the country and traveled the world, making close friends wherever he went.

His dear friends and colleagues have shown Bill and his family endless support over the last few months, for which his family wants to express their gratitude. Bill was a truly happy man who loved his family, friends and job, as well as his hobbies of golfing, fishing and playing guitar. He lived a rewarding and fulfilled life.

A memorial service and reception will be held at Olinger Chapel Hill, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO at 2PM on Friday, May 6, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.

Susan, Alli and Kim, After working with and for Bill for 10 years and then connecting with him regularly over the years i came to know and understand his pride of and personal commitment to all of you. I used his wisdom and knowledge regularly and I hold many fond memories of Bill, his stories and his laughter -particularly on the golf course. He was a friend who will be missed. Our deepest sympathies to you all.

Susan, Allison and Kimberly: What a great person to have as a husband and father. I'm so sorry for your loss - he was such a great person, always in good spirits and a mentor to many. Every conversation we had included a big sidebar on his family accompanied by a big proud smile. I'm glad to have known him and to have had a few laughs together. He will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all his family and friends. Kevin & Ellen Mahoney

Bill unconditionally loved and was extremely proud of his family. I enjoyed having lunch, playing golf or just hanging out with Bill. As we talked about Susan, Stacey and our daughters, I would only hope to have the same relationship with my family that Bill had with Susan and his girls. I have many found memories that I thank Bill for being part of. You will be missed and always remembered.

Susan and the family, we just learned the news today. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Bill was a great industry friend and professional. It will be different, going to future hotel conferences and not being able to interact with Bill and seeing that warm smile and talking about the past days. You
brought much pleasure and happiness into Bill's life!

Bill treated me well when I first met him during my freshman year at Cornell - Bill's junior year. Then, over the next 38 years, we always made it a point to say hello when our paths crossed in the industry. Always the consummate professional, he represented and served our industry very well. We will miss him.

Susan, Alli and Kim, please know that Bill was an outstanding man, let alone a consummate professional in the hotel industry. I worked with Bill at on a few conference panels, and he was there to help guide the panel, provide insight to our topics, and beyond that, our respective personal lives. What a wonderful human being. He will be sorely missed.
