Doris (LeMay) Duquette, 95, of Essex Connecticut, died peacefully at home on April 24th, 2026, with her family at her side. Doris was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Richard, her daughter Helen, and her son Robert.
Doris was most proud of being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her children Janice, Richard, Paula (Baylis), Michelle (Cozens), and David will greatly miss her gentle companionship and guidance. Her grandchildren Danielle, Shawn, Kate, Benjamin, and Sammie were the lights of her life.
Doris’ Catholic faith was the bedrock of her life. Before moving to Essex, she was very active in the parish community of St. Peter’s Church in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Funeral services will be private.
