Truly humble, and charitable to a fault, his community involvement filled his life. He was the recipient of many honors including The Paul Harris Fellow Recognition from the Chester Rotary. He was an officer and lifetime member of the Chester Hose Company, a member of Chester’s Bicentennial Committee and a member of the Town Hall Building Committee. He was a supporter of many Chester events including Four on the Fourth and the Lobster Festival.
He was a big fan of horse racing and a follower of the Boston Red Sox and UCONN Basketball.
Jimmy had time for everyone and has left a host of cherished friends. Stories of his generosity and commitment will remain part of Chester’s legacy.
The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to the staff, nurses, and doctors at Aaron Manor, who took good care of him.
