Jeanne was born in Somerville, Massachusetts to John and Beatrice (Urbati) Lane. The family later moved to Essex, Connecticut where Jeanne graduated from Valley Regional High School.
Jeanne worked for the Westbrook Board of Education at the Daisy Ingraham Elementary School as the Principal’s executive secretary. She loved her job, the students and all the dedicated teachers and support staff. Jeanne retired in 2015 after serving 35 years.
She is survived by Dan Haslam, her loving husband of 20 years, her son Danny Parker of Westbrook and her brother Kevin Lane (Mary) of South Carolina.
