Jill Carol LaMark

Jill Carol LaMark, 67, of Branford, passed away on September 25, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving daughters. Born on August 30, 1958 in Hempstead, Long Island, she is the daughter of Ellen (Joseph) Passanessi and Benjamin Gregory. Jill is survived by her three daughters Samantha LaMark and her husband Steven Degray, Rachel LaMark, and Jacqueline LaMark and stepdaughter Kathryn Toolan and her husband Brian Toolan. She is also survived by her two granddaughters Amelia and Madelyn DeGray. In addition she is survived by her siblings Lynn Mehrtens, Courtney Gregory, Gigi Schneider, and Jennifer Wilcox as well as her nieces and nephews. Jill was predeceased by her beloved husband Samuel LaMark, her cherished cats Tuxy and Freckles, her parents Ellen, Joseph, and Ben, as well as her sister Kim Gregory. Jill’s family want to give special thanks to her amazing Oncology team: Dr. Jill Lacy, Teresa White APRN, and all the North Haven Infusion nurses for their excellent care and compassion over the last 4 years.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday October 3, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Chester. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Closer to Free Fund for Smilow Cancer Hospital.
