Lucia I. Rogers, age 98, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Apple Rehabilitation in Old Saybrook. Lucia had been a resident of Essex Village at South Cove for nine years and was formerly of Deep River. She had been a housekeeper and had also been employed in Hartford at a silencer manufacturing company. A graveside service will be held at the Riverview Cemetery on North Main Street in Essex on Tuesday, January 6th at 1:00PM.
