My favorite memory of Scott is when he came to pick up his daughter from my sewing class, I called him Bob because he looked so much like his Dad (who I knew from Westbrook Congregational Church).  He didn't correct me, just smiled.

Extraordinary life so well lived but taken from this earth far too soon!!  BUT the precious memories -- the light and love that Scott bestowed and shared so freely with all of us who've been so privileged to know him -- will always remain as an indelible beacon illuminating and enriching all our lives and shining down on us from above where he now resides in his Heavenly Father's glory!!

I have fond memories of the many ways that Scott helped with Christian Education at First Baptist Church in West Hartford. He was especially good at crafts, and got the whole family involved. He died too young, but crammed a lot of life and love into his 51 years. This wasn't the outcome we hoped for, but "whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's" (Rom.14:7). I hope to be with you to celebrate Scott's life and our hope in Christ. -Rev. David Roones

One of my favorite memories of Scott is related to the stories he created for Katie and Sarah most nights about the infamous worms, Ned and Fred. He somehow managed to tell an ongoing story for years, adding to the worms’ story each night entirely from his imagination. Amazing! The saga of Ned and Fred became a beautiful memory for the girls of the imagination and fun-loving nature of their dad.
