Rosemarie Amoroso

Rosemarie Amoroso, of Madison passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. She was the beloved mother of Janice A. Rand (David) of East Haddam. Rosemarie was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 9, 1932, the daughter of Accursio and Lillian (Sabella) Licata.

She has been a resident of Connecticut for the past 50 years and enjoyed being a resident of Madison where she would spend time walking the beach, reading, and spending time and celebrating the holidays with her family. Rosemarie was a secretary throughout her career and last worked for John A. Matthews, Architecture and Planning in Madison. She so loved The Lord and was a member of the church family of The Living Rock Church in Killingworth.

Besides her daughter Jan, she leaves her beloved grandchildren, Tyler and Megan. Rosemarie was predeceased by her beloved sister, Joyce and her parents. Rosemarie’s funeral service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 11:00AM at The Living Rock Church, 138 Route 81 in Killingworth. Burial will be privately held in the Nut Plains Cemetery in Guilford. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to The Living Rock Church.
