Catherine J. Secari

Catherine J. Secari, 94, of Lake Grove, New York, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2025. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Frank J., and her cherished sons, Steven and Frank. Catherine leaves behind her beloved daughters, Denise Sagredo and Cheryl Hayes (Thomas), who were a source of great joy and pride in her life.

Catherine’s family was her greatest treasure. She was a devoted and loving grandmother to Jennifer Colantonio (Frank), Angela Hall, Vanessa Westley (Robert), and Desiree (Luigi). She was also a proud and adoring great-grandmother to Taylor, Alisa, Alanna, Abigail, Harrison, and Chloe. Her legacy of love, kindness, and warmth will live on in each of them.

A visitation for Catherine will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Centereach, NY. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, NY.

Catherine’s family extends heartfelt thanks to all those who offered their love and support during her life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
