Craig A. Niemeyer

Craig A. Niemeyer, of Coram, New York passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, at the age of 63. A devoted husband, proud father, doting grandfather, and loyal friend, Craig's presence filled every room with laughter, love, and a bit of mischief.

Craig was born on June 13, 1961 in Norfolk, Virginia and spent his life dedicated to family, service, and the simple joys that made life sweet. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Craig exemplified strength, dedication, and an unwavering love for his country.

He shared 40 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Frances. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. He was a loving father to Sheryl (Robert) Murawski, Craig Jr. (Brianna), Nicholas (Ginni) Ermilio, the late Dawn, and his "adopted" daughter Ashley. Craig was the cherished grandfather of Giovanna and Salvatore, and the proud dog dad of his fur baby, Brandee.

Craig had a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy in fishing, crabbing, and tossing the ball with Brandee. He had a playful spirit, especially when it came to teasing his girls, Sheryl and Ashley. His passion for American bald eagles reflected his spirit—fierce, proud, and free.

Craig's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His laughter, strength, and endless stories will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

A visitation for Craig will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. A visitation will occur Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. A religious ceremony will occur Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 8:00 PM, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. A committal service will occur Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, Wading River, NY 11792.
