Eleanor M. Burkard

Eleanor M. Burkard, age 85, of Centereach, New York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. She was the loving wife of Kenneth and devoted mother to Karen Krummenacker (Robert), Kenneth W., and the late Lisa Bednarik. Eleanor was also a cherished grandmother to Nicole Naziro (Jonathon), Michelle, Elizabeth, and Jimmy.

Eleanor and Kenneth met in 1957 and were married on November 22, 1959. Together, they built a life centered around love, faith, and family. Eleanor was a down-to-earth lady who was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her family was her greatest treasure, and her strong faith provided her with strength and comfort throughout her life. In her leisure time, Eleanor had a unique passion for collecting autographed baseball cards from her favorite players, a hobby she enjoyed immensely.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. A service will be held at 8:00 PM. Following the service, a private cremation will take place.

Eleanor will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to family, and the love she so freely gave. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
