On July 26, 2022 Elizabeth D. Walker passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was 64 years old. A life long pet lover, Elizabeth learned to ride English began showing horses at 8 years old. She later learned Western and loved to Barrel Race and ride Gymkana. With the support of her loving husband Gary, she moved out to Centereach in 1979 and went on to have two children, Kyle and Myles. She later began showing and breeding Labrador Retrievers and Rottweilers before settling her love for Cairn Terriers under the kennel name Pebble Rock Cairns where her breeding program was well known and one of the strongest in the country. She was a respected member of the Carin Terrier Club of America and was Housatonic’s outstanding Show Chair for many years. She leaves behind her husband Gary and two sons Kyle and Myles.
